Be Confident in Your Smile With Invisalign: Oakbrook Terrace

Are you unhappy with your smile? Do you feel like your teeth are crooked, crowded, or gapped? If so, Invisalign® clear aligners may be the right solution for you.

Invisalign® is a popular alternative to metal braces, using clear plastic aligners to straighten teeth gradually. Because the aligners are nearly invisible, most people won’t even know you’re wearing them!

Invisalign® is an excellent choice for adults and teens looking for a discreet way to improve their smile. The aligners are also removable, so you can quickly eat your favorite foods and brush and floss your teeth.

If you’re interested in learning more about Invisalign® treatment, reach out to Smile Big Dental Specialists. Our experienced dentists are ready to help you improve the look and feel of your smile! Call 630-359-8885 today for an Invisalign® consultation.

How Invisalign Works

If you’re considering Invisalign®, the first step is to schedule an appointment with our team. We will examine your teeth during your dental visit and discuss your treatment options. If you’re a candidate for Invisalign®, we will take impressions of your teeth and send them to the Invisalign® lab. The lab will use the impressions to create a custom treatment plan for you.

Once your new aligners are ready, you’ll come back to our office to have them fitted. You’ll wear every set of aligners for about two weeks before moving on to the next set. You’ll need to wear your aligners for 20 to 21 hours daily to achieve the best results. After that, you should only remove them to drink, eat, floss, and brush your teeth.

Most people complete their Invisalign treatment in about 12 months. However, each case is unique, so our orthodontists will be able to give you a more accurate timeline during your consultation.

If you’re ready to improve your smile, Invisalign® may be the right choice. Please schedule an appointment with our experienced dentists today to learn more about this popular treatment option.

How Much Does Invisalign Cost?

The cost of Invisalign® treatment varies depending on the severity of your case. Our team will be able to give you a more accurate estimate during your consultation. In general, Invisalign is comparable in cost to traditional metal braces. However, the exact price will depend on your treatment plan.

Some dental insurance plans cover the cost of Invisalign® treatment. Our team can help you determine if your insurance plan will cover part or all of the cost of treatment.

We also offer financing options to make Invisalign® more affordable. We understand that orthodontic treatment is a significant investment, so we want to make it as easy as possible for you to get the treatment you need.

Does Invisalign Hurt?

Invisalign® is a gentle way to straighten teeth; most people report little to no discomfort while wearing the aligners. This is because, unlike traditional braces, Invisalign® doesn’t contain any uncomfortable wires or sharp metal brackets. While Invisalign® is typically a more comfortable option, you may still experience some soreness or tenderness when you start wearing the Invisalign® aligners or move to a new set.

If you experience any discomfort, it should go away within a few days. You can also take over-the-counter pain relievers if you need to.

Client Testimonials

Gina H.

I have over 15 years experience in clinical dentistry and dental laboratory management. I can honestly say that Dr. Arredondo gives the best, most honest care that I have ever received. He does great work, its pain free, the office is clean, staff is professional. My parents also go here and they really love him as well. I've worked for a lot of Dentists who, in my opinion, treatment plan extra services just to bill extra production. That IS NOT the case at this office. They will take care of your needs and nothing more/nothing less. Rest assured. As a patient of this office for upwards of 7 years... I highly recommend Smile Big Dental Specialists.

Reyna S.

My boyfriend and I visited their new location at 1S376 Summit Ave in Oak Brook Terrace, IL and absolutely adored the place. The location was very clean and updated and the staff was friendly as well as informative! I hadn't been to the dentist in a while so I'm outdated on technology but it was amazing to see the newer instruments used for the X-rays and cleanings! My hygienist David was very gentle, kind and answered everything I had questions about. The doctor came in later after my cleaning and went over everything again and informed me on how to properly care for the issues I was having...

Kekee R.

Had a stressful procedure- thought I was going in for a consultation- With that being said, I would like to thank Dr. T & Jocelyn- both were awesome, friendly & very informative. Jocelyn was welcoming from the day I made my Initial appointment. I commend Dr T for being compassionate and caring! I will recommend this office to everyone I know! I‘m grateful to have finally found a dentist office I can trust! Worth the hassle and large amount of coins! Best dentist office around!!!! Thanks again!
